
Eleanor is a multi media artist who combines traditional painting with digital photography and manipulation. Her current series “The Iron Cage” embeds photographs of awkward social moments, and escapist parties into surreal fantasy landscapes.
Eleanor delights in hosting exhibitions and running Salon style events. In 2011 she ran temporary art space Top Floor, Hoxton Square, with fellow artist Andrew Hancock. 30 artists and performers took part in the 6 Month project. She is currently embarking on a similar venture in Queens Park, where she is looking for a house that will turned into a creative playground, for artists to make and show work in.
Eleanor’s final passion is academia, more particularly psychology and psychotherapy. She has studied at various institutions including Cambridge University and Goldsmiths College. She regularly contributes to the magazine Under the Influence, is has spoken on numerous panels, including the Arts Festival at Hay and the Being Human debates.
