Yellow Faces
2009-2011
Yellow faces is a series of works that reflect a life long feeling of absence, detachment and emptiness.
If you find drawn to the pictures it is possibly because you resonate with the feelings described.
I made this work without really understanding it, but now I see it as a reflection of my chronic loneliness and physical disengagement with with world.
There is also a degree of wonder in these pictures, here I ask questions such as - 'Why am I here?', 'What does it mean to be human?' and a more general observation that say's 'Isn't life strange?'
